• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or for security reasons.

4. Listings and Content

• Sellers bear full responsibility for the accuracy and truthfulness of their business listing information.
• Publishing false, misleading, or fraudulent listing information is strictly prohibited.
• OpenBiz does not verify the accuracy of listing information and assumes no liability for listing content.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates Platform policies.
• All user-published content must comply with applicable New Zealand laws and regulations.

5. AI Valuations and Analysis

AI-powered business valuations provided on this Platform are for reference purposes only and do not constitute professional financial advice. Valuation results are generated based on user-supplied information and industry-standard multipliers and may differ from actual market value. We recommend consulting a licensed professional before making significant financial decisions.

6. Paid Services

• Paid services offered on the Platform include, but are not limited to, premium valuation reports and featured listing placement.
• All fees are denominated in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), inclusive of GST where applicable.
• Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. OpenBiz does not store your payment card information.
• Refund policy: Paid services are generally non-refundable once delivered, unless otherwise required by law.

7. Free Listing Policy

OpenBiz allows users to list businesses for free. Platform revenue is derived from value-added services (such as premium valuation reports, featured placements, etc.). We encourage users to engage licensed business brokers or lawyers for professional assistance during the transaction process.

8. Professional Services

Professional service providers featured on the Platform (including but not limited to accountants, lawyers, and business brokers) are independent third parties. OpenBiz assumes no responsibility for the quality, competence, or advice of their services. Users should independently verify the qualifications and licences of professionals.

9. Intellectual Property

• The design, text, graphics, software, and other content of this Platform are protected by intellectual property law.
• Users retain intellectual property rights to their uploaded content but grant OpenBiz a licence to use such content as necessary for Platform operations.
• Unauthorised reproduction, modification, or distribution of any part of the Platform is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability
